Foreign Films
To read subtitles or to not read subtitles, that may be the question, but the answer should be "Yes!" (or "Si!" or "Oui!", etc.,) for the best foreign
treasures that find their way to our shores. Films by art house legends like Akira Kurosawa and Frederico Fellini and modern masters like Wong Kar-Wai and Pedro Almodovar are exciting, moving, beautiful, and the perfect antidote to having your block busted too many times by the Hollywood machine. Those who have attended the library's monthly iFilm series (on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 6:00pm) know how rewarding it can be to "parlez-view" films from another culture. Check out these web sites to learn more about foreign films.
