If the date of death is not known, try searching:
- Minnesota Death Index (1904-2001)
- Social Security Death Index (1962 to date)
- History Center of Olmsted County databases
Obituaries of people who died in Rochester hospitals, but did not live in Rochester will appear in their hometown newspapers, not in the Rochester newspaper.
The Rochester Public Library does not lend our microfilm to other libraries. The Minnesota Historical Society library has microfilm for Rochester newspapers available for interlibrary loan.
