Exploring Race: Building An Inclusive Community Conference - Thursday, August 19, 2010

Internationally renowned speaker john a. powell will be coming to Rochester to lead a one-day conference on race.  This event is offered by a group of community organizations, including the Diversity Council, in conjunction with the RACE Exhibit.  Four workshops will give you the opportunity to learn more about cross-cultural communication and white privilege, discuss the "RACE: Are we so different?" exhibit, or explore how to talk about race.

Come celibrate the Gift of our Diversity with prayers, songs, and readings from different faith expressions as we move into the last week of the powerful RACE: Are we so different? exhibit in Rochester.
