Exploring Race: Building An Inclusive Community Conference - Thursday, August 19, 2010
Internationally renowned speaker john a. powell will be coming to Rochester to lead a one-day conference on race. This event is offered by a group of community organizations, including the Diversity Council, in conjunction with the RACE Exhibit. Four workshops will give you the opportunity to learn more about cross-cultural communication and white privilege, discuss the "RACE: Are we so different?" exhibit, or explore how to talk about race.
