- The Soap Box Derby is a youth racing program which has run nationally since 1934.World Championship finals are held each August at Derby Downs in Akron, Ohio.
- The Ancient Olympics
- Tufts University created this site in 1996 in honor of the Atlanta summer games. It remains an excellent source on the ancient Olympics.
- Ballparks by Munsey & Suppes
- This site offers links to baseball parks, football stadiums, hockey and basketball arenas. The site also includes pictures, statistics, facts, history and seating charts for most of the sports arenas.
- Iditarod
- The race pits man and animal against nature, against wild Alaska at her best and as each mile is covered, a tribute to Alaska's past is issued. The Iditarod is a tie to -- a commemoration of -- that colorful past. The Iditarod Trail, now a National Historic Trail, had its beginnings as a mail and supply route from the coastal towns of Seward and Knik to the interior mining camps.
