HOORAY FOR SATURDAY!
FAMILY PROGRAMS @ YOUR LIBRARY

Throughout the school year programs featuring special guests or films are presented on Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. Programs are free and open to all ages. No registration is required.

BEDTIME STORIES

Bedtime story times are designed for working parents and their young children. Themes and materials are selected with toddlers and two-year-olds in mind. Parents are encouraged to sit with their children and participate in story time activities. Older siblings are also welcome to attend.

Three sessions of Bedtime Stories are held during the school year: Fall, Winter, and Spring, on Tuesday evenings at 6:30. Registration is not required for these sessions.

SUMMER FUN AT THE LIBRARY

During the summer, on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., programs (special guests or films) are presented. Programs are free and open to all ages. No registration is required. Auditorium seating is limited to 250 people.

STORIES FOR TODDLERS AND TWOS

Stories, puppets, and films for children 18 months to 36 months of age and their parents or care providers. Three sessions are held during the school year: Fall, Winter, and Spring. No registration required.

3 - 5 YEAR-OLD STORY TIME

Story Time is approximately 30 minutes in length and includes a variety of books, flannelboard stories, fingerplays, songs, puppets, and slides. Each program concludes with a short film. Parents and care providers are invited to enjoy the film with the children each week.

This fun and active program is geared for the child who is ready for a story time experience independent of his/her parent or day care provider.

READING PROGRAMS

Summer and Winter reading programs encourage reading by offering prizes and incentives for reading a certain number of hours.
