The quilt contains 55 blocks representing 40 different countries, cultures, and backgrounds. On this web page, you can find out more about the quilters who contributed blocks, by clicking on the individual blocks of the quilt photo.
Listening & Viewing Stations
Listening stations with compact disc players and audiocassette
players are available in the Fiction, Movies and Music area.
One viewing station with a monitor, VCR, and DVD player is
located in the Fiction, Movies & Music area.
- Sign-up sheets are provided at each of the viewing and
listening stations on a first come first serve basis.
- Only Rochester Public Library materials may be used on
the listening and viewing equipment.
- You may sign up for and use a listening or viewing station
up to two hours per day and up to four hours per week. Additional
time may be available if no one is waiting.
- Only one person at a time may use a listening or viewing
station with the exception of a child accompanied by an adult
or tutor.
- Listening stations for children are also available in the Children's Division.
