Friends of Libraries USA
Provides resources, services, and networking opportunities for
Friends, Trustees, and Foundations across the country to increase
and enhance their efforts on behalf of public, academic, and
school libraries.
Points of Light Foundation
Through a variety of programs and services, the Foundation encourages
people from all walks of life — businesses, nonprofits,
faith-based organizations, low-income communities, families,
youth, and older adults — to volunteer.
Minnesota Association of Library Friends
Their role is to assist and enable local Friends of the Library
to be more effective in their support and enthusiasm for libraries
of all types.
The Book Whisperer is a Friend of the Library and frequently makes book recommendations to patrons of the Friends Bookstore. She is a prolific reader of the Rochester Library, and strongly recommends buying books in our Bookstore!
